Truckline Parts and Service is a locally owned, full service shop that specializes in heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
We have an opening for a Heavy Duty Truck and Transport Mechanic to service our customers' semi-truck and trailer units, plus lighter and medium duty fleet trucks.
The Job Requires:
- Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic.
- Jouneyman or Apprentice (2nd, 3rd, 4th year). Will consider equivalent experience.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all truck and trailer systems. Rebuild differentials and transmissions. Clutch experience required.
- Prior experience working with heavy trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles.
- Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract. Class 1A preferred.
- Perform SK Safety Inspections on Tractors and Trailers.
- Accurate, legible, and descriptive completion of work orders and checklists.
- Comfortable using computerized equipment.
- Provide your own tools and storage toolbox.
- Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Saskatoon, S7K 1T9).
