Description

Great Buffet of China is looking for a skilled Cook with experience in traditional Cantonese and Chinese cuisine.

Job Duties:

Prepare and cook specialized Chinese cuisine dishes
Prepare and cook special meals for certain events and banquets
Cook different types of dishes (in large quantities) to ensure that the flow of the buffet table is not affected
Direct kitchen staff to prepare meats, vegetables, and fruits for cooking purposes
Creating main dishes and follow existing recipes
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and order in the kitchen
Train and supervise kitchen helpers

Qualifications:

Possess commercial cooking knowledge and have at least one-year Chinese cook work experience.
Completed Grade 12 or higher level of education.
Have a good understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job.
Be able to communicate in English.
