Sales Representative

Taiga has a FULL-TIME opportunity available as a sales representative, reporting to the Branch Manager. The primary focus of this position is to grow our lumber, panel and building products business in Southern Saskatchewan and South Western Manitoba. The position is based out of our branch in Regina , SK.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

YOU MUST HAVE - Minimum 3-5 years experience selling Lumber, Panel and Building Products
Established relationship with customer base
Proven record of delivering superior customer service and satisfaction
Team player as well as an individual go-getter
Must be computer literate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional in appearance
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate new business opportunities in the region.  
Develop and maintain a close working relationship with existing client base and suppliers
Identify key areas of opportunity by reviewing customers, competitors and trends
Develop sales objectives and strategies
Ensure maximum sales revenues and margins are obtained
Attend periodic meetings and trade shows, as required
Maintain working knowledge of all features of all products sold
Provide customers with relevant product information and service
Responsible for ordering and maintaining Product Lines.
