Description

Reporting to the foreman, our labourers obtain key knowledge an insight in the construction field and plays a key role in the highway and infrastructure.  W.F. Botkin is looking for an individual with strong work ethic and is ready and willing to do what it takes to help our projects succeed.

Job Duties:
-Take direction from foreman with respect to Crushing activities on a Crushing pit site
-Prep crushing pit for equipment set up and take take downs by evaluating safety concerns and clearing / controlling hazards as they appear
-Load and unload materials as needed
-Set up of crushing cone trailer, conveyors and supply trailer
-Ready to learn on the job as needed
-Perform daily site clean up and help with down time maintenance
-Miscellaneous duties as required

Requirements:
-Some job site experience; skid steer or loader experience is an asset
-Valid drivers license with the ability to get to and from site
-Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty environment with heavy equipment working close by
-Ability to perform strenuous, physical tasks on a daily basis
-High attention to detail with strong values rooted in health and safety
-Ability to work in a high paced environment with high physical demand
-Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Flexibility to work overtime as needed
-Steel-toe safety boots are required
