Description

Reporting to the general supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of site services both on surface and underground. You will be responsible for supervising, planning, co-ordinating and scheduling site services operations and project tasks in order to meet site requirements. In this role, you will ensure consistent supervisory functionality throughout the department, ensure personnel have the proper equipment and information to properly complete tasks assigned to them and oversee contractors executing work in their respective trades. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing continual improvement projects to support the needs of the operation to achieve the safety, environment, community and financial performance goals. You will provide supervision and senior support for site services personnel while also acting as an equipment trainer and operator as required. Working as part of a team, we look out for one another and collaborate to improve our performance.

Requirements of the position:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Seven years of relevant work experience in progressive positions
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Effective leadership skills
- Experience with heavy equipment including grader operation
- Solid team player with excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Willingness to give and receive honest feedback and learn required computer skills
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
- Valid Class 1A drivers license

Assets:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Saskatchewans supervisory certificate
- Crane operator certification
- First aid certification
- Experience working with SAP
