Great Buffet of China is looking for a skilled food service supervisor to manage our busy kitchen.
Job Duties:
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of kitchen staff who prepare, portion and serve food to ensure that the flow of the buffet table is not affected
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
Qualifications:
Have at least one-year food service supervising experience.
Completed Grade 12 or higher level of education.
Have a good knowledge of commercial kitchen operation.
Be able to communicate in English.
