KERROBERT GOLDEN PRAIRIE LODGE is in need of GUEST SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE (NOC 6525)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.) Responsible for checking in new guests, handling check-outs, setting up the cash registers, and taking payments.
2.) Handle guest reservations through telephone, email, and in person
3.) Keep track of available rooms, reservations, and room assignments.
4.) Respond to written, telephone, and in-person requests for information about hotel services, costs, and registration.
5.) Coordinates with housekeeping about the rooms for cleaning
6.) Provide guests with directions around the hotel
7.) Anticipate guests needs or complaints, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
8.) Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
9.) Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift including night audit report
10.) Perform other related duties as assigned
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
1.) The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly.
2.) Proven excellence in customer service.
3.) Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals with a strong sense of responsibility.
4.) Knowledge able with computers and related peripherals
5.) Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
6.) Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.
7.) Effective verbal and listening communication skills in English
