Position Summary:
The Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services (YTCCFS) Inc. is seeking one full time Integrated Family Service Worker, based out of the YTCCFS Inc. Central Office in Yorkton SK. The Integrated Family Service Worker; under the supervision of the North File Hills Area Program Manager; will provide a holistic approach to the wellness of the child, the family, and the community, that is based on the culture, traditions and practices involving Elders and Child First Committees along the continuum of care for children, and, to assess and plan for cultural and professional interventions with families. The Integrated Family Service Worker will work collaboratively with Elders, the Child First Committees, the First Nations Community based programs/services and the YTCCFS Inc. programs. Working in conjunction with the Prevention Services Workers, the Child First Committees and the Area Program Manager, The Integrated Family Service Worker will provide early intervention for at risk families and ensure children are safe by providing access to a range of developmental services for children and families. Qualifications: A Bachelor of Indian Social Work or a Bachelor of Social Work or a Bachelor level degree in a directly related field.
