WPCCC is looking for a new Executive Director who wants to make their imprint in the childcare field! We are searching for someone who will help our centre become the place everyone wants to work, the place parents want to send their kids, and a warm, loving and safe environment the kids want to go to everyday.

We are a small to midsize centre with a great team, wonderful parents and even more awesome kiddos.

We are looking for someone who owns a label maker, gets a thrill from organizing their emails and keeping them below 5 unopened at a time, loves to facilitate and lead teams, isnt afraid of the odd crucial conversation, and has no problem wiping a runny nose. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization.
- Partners with the board in developing the strategic direction and policy development.
- Maintains awareness of all federal and provincial legislation, applicable to voluntary sector organizations.
- Monitors and pursues alternate funding as appropriate opportunities are identified.
- Implements policy from governing authority board.
- Recruits, interviews and selects prospective employees who meet the position and organizational requirements.
- Coaches and mentors employees.
- Provides the board with comprehensive, regular reports on revenues and expenditures of organization.

Qualifications:
- ECE Level III
- First Aid, CPR and WHMIS Certificates
- Food Safe Certificate
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Criminal Record Check required
- Strong leader and problem solver
- Finance management skills including budgeting, cash flow management, etc.
-Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
