Description

Montanas BBQ & Bar, located on 8th Street, is looking for experienced cooks.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of one year of cooking experience.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team is a necessity.

Terms of Employment:
Full-time and permanent position
30-40 hours a week
Must be available to work in early mornings, days, evenings, nights and on weekends
Part-time work is also available.

Anticipated Start Date:
As soon as possible

Wages:
$14.25 per hour

Primary duties of a cook:
Must be able to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner items
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen helpers engaged in food preparation.
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to health standards.
Determine production schedules and worker-time requirements.
Train and instruct workers in proper food preparation procedures.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients, season, and cook food according to recipes or instructions
Guide, direct, and motivate subordinates
Maintain inventory and records of foods, supplies, and equipment.
