Parkland College is currently seeking an Instructor for the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program. This is a Part-Time, Term position from November 16, 2022 - June 9, 2023 for a total of 282.5 hours and will take place in Yorkton, SK.

The Opportunity:
This position is primarily responsible for the clinical instructing of adults working to train as Home Care Assistants (Home Care / Special Care Aide) in integrated facilities, personal care homes and hospital settings. Course curriculum is directed by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The instructor must evaluate and record student progress, teach, coach and supervise students in classroom and clinical settings.

Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree in Nursing or RN/RPN plus post-graduate education.
-Two years recent and relevant experience in gerontology, long-term care, home care, and special care education.
-Current registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan
-Applicants must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic accreditation requirements.
-Applicants must be in good standing with Saskatchewan Health Authority.
-Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
