We are looking for snow removal labourers. Tasks include, shovelling, snow blowing, sweeping, leaf blowing, salting. Casual on call, reliable, weather dependent.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license.
Own winter gear, boots, gloves, jacket, toque etc.
Individuals are required to be physically fit and can endure working in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
Capable of standing, walking, kneeling, crouching and or slouching for long periods of time.
Ability to operate machinery such as snow blowers, walk behind sweepers, backpack blowers.
Basic mechanical knowledge
Duties/Responsibilities:
Removal of snow /de-icing of walkways, sidewalks in accordance to company policy.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Ability to take direction and or give direction.
Good communication skills, and customer service is a must.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while removing snow at all times.
Attention to detail to snow and ice management
All damages on site must be reported to supervisor or administration right away.
Available on short notice, every day in event of snow fall.
Must be reliable and able to work long hours as needed.
$15-18 depending on experience
