We are looking to fill the position of Residential Floor Joist Designer. The selected individual will need to be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, knowledge of the construction industry and sales experience is a definite asset.

Responsibilities:

Design and provide quote for floor joists using EWP Studio software for residential building packages.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proficient Application of different CAD Software, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook through a recognized educational institute, high school program or workplace experience.
Experience in Floor Truss and EWP Design would be a considerable asset.
Ability to learn new software and read blueprints.
General experience in the building/construction industry such as framing experience with an understanding of building code requirements for roof and floor systems.
Exceptional customer service, multi-tasking, mathematical and communication skills.
