Description

One, Permanent Full Time Position is available with Court Security, Security/Detention Unit within La Ronge Provincial Court.  In this physically challenging position, you will be responsible for the secure armed transport of adult and youth prisoners, providing security in the detention area, and escorting prisoners to and from court rooms.  In addition, you will provide security to the Judiciary, court staff, lawyers, witnesses, and members of the public in relation to the operation of the Courts. Knowledge of the justice system as it applies to the various levels of court and the knowledge, skills, and abilities consistent with the responsibilities of a peace officer will be considered as assets.
