Role Responsibilities:
Ensure trucks are shunted to the dock in a timely manner in preparation for the nights shipping.
Checking reefer and heater settings.
Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers if required. Other warehouse duties if required.
Shuttle vehicles from the site to service centers for corrective and preventative maintenance.
Conduct periodic inspections of the vehicles to ensure that mechanical and safety issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures comprising Syscos Food Safety program, specific for the assigned role.
Carry out duties in a safe manner as instructed through safety training.
Participating in various meetings/groups (shift, departmental, company and safety).
Coordinating any truck/trailer switches as required, and;
Any other work as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
AZ License (or equivalent) with Clean Drivers Abstract and clear Criminal Record Check required.
English fluency
Reliable and safety conscious with teamwork attitude.
1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
