Gunner's Plumbing & Heating currently requires a full-time employee to be indentured as an apprentice with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission. If applicant is not a plumbing apprentice at this time, GPH will help begin the process.
We are looking for an employee who is driven to provide quality work and who is punctual, organized, and likes to work as part of a team.
Position includes assisting Journeyman Plumber with an assortment of tasks. Once employee has completed some schooling, they may have the opportunity to have their own truck on the road with helper.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Able to lift at least 50lbs and lift above head
- Seasonal work both inside and outside
- Work in tight spaces and low light conditions
- Ability to work alone or as a team
- Perform general housekeeping
- Highly organized
- Motivated to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Dependable
- Exhibit professionalism and good customer service
- Valid driver's license and provide driver abstract
- Able to pass criminal record check
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Job Requirements:
- Basic hand tools not a requirement as a first year apprentice but an asset
- Must be prepared to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to work extended hours when required
Hours of business are from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Overtime required occasionally.
