Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, or property damage.
Operate equipment according to all relevant legislations, policies, and procedures.
Perform daily equipment safety and maintenance checks.
Ensure heavy equipment is securely stored and advise the onsite supervisor of any requirements for maintenance, or repairs.
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and dusty. environments.
Be willing to work a 10 day on and 4 day off shift
Shifts are typically 12 hours long, overtime after 8 hours and 40 hours in the week.
Able to communicate in a courteous and professional manner with all supervisors, co-workers, and the general public.
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have 6 months to a year Track Hoe experience.
Must have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting.
Must have a valid driver's license.
