Description

Prairie Lily Early Learning Centre is looking for a positive, hardworking individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator, working with children ages 18 monnths to 5 years old.

We are looking for an applicant who will join us in building a very strong program at this location of Prairie Lily, who will focus on high-quality programming, caring genuinely for others, and providing an all around positive experience for the children in our Centre. We are looking to add someone with prior experience and the strong skills that are necessary for working with these age groups. They will need to be someone who is skilled in the areas of behavior management and who understands the Play and Exploration curriculum. We are incredibly excited for this opportunity to grow and expand our Centre, and hope that whoever joins us in this positions will share the excitement and dreams that we have! We are excited to welcome the successful candidate and their ideas into our programs. We are looking to hire someone with an ECE Level 1, 2 or 3 at this time.

In our Centres, we work very hard to establish and provide a relaxing, home-like environment for all the children in our care while following the provincial "Play and Exploration" guide. We will  be looking to hire an individual who is fun, creative and caring to continue to help shape our Center to be one that cares for all the needs of a child. Your role, as the chosen applicant, will be to educate our children and to help them grow and develop into happy, healthy humans. You will be responsible for daily planning/programming, leading group work with the children, managing challenging behaviors, daily cleaning and maintenance, helping to encourage literacy and language skills, and ensuring that Play and Exploration is being used at all times.

All full-time positions will be Monday to Friday, with varying hours. Some overtime may occasionally be required. Applicants MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 40 HOURS PER WEEK.
