Description

Right Choice Energy Services is looking to fill the role of Quality Control Rep within the company. The ideal candidate will be willing to work in both the field and shop locations as required (Moose Jaw & Weyburn) and will hold a CWB Level 1 certificate.  Preferred to hold a JM Certificate in Welding or Pipefitting.

Will require current First Aid/CPR & H2S.

Key Responsibilities:
Basic understand of provincial/federal standards, weld procedures, ITPs, etc
Qualified and able to complete visual examination of completed welds
Good computer knowledge
Ability to complete/review weld logs, MTR logs, hydrotest packs, etc.
Ability to interpret multiple discipline drawings.
Ensure all personnel are aware and performing to the Quality Management System.
Managing materials, receiving, storage and shipping.
Reviewing bill of materials against isometrics and identifying any shortages or overages prior to fabrication.
Ensuring all MTRs are received for material shipments, signed, and dated.
Help coordinate NDE contractors at the job site and shops working with Supervision.
Assist supervisors in shop and field locations with QC requirements.
Ensure there is QC checks on an ongoing basis.
Maintain all documentation as per our QCM.
Work with the QC Manager regarding project requirements.
Verify and release finished products for shipment c/w required documentation.
Work with the QC Manager and Shop and Field Supervisors to ensure that only quality products are produced.
Ensure that no faulty material is used for fabrication, is documented and quarantined.
Monitor every stage of fabrication to avoid defects.
Complete reports and submit to the QC Manager.
File and sign off on documentation as required.
Ensures safe storage and verification of all project related documentation, both paper documents and electronic files.
Ensures consumables are stored as per manufacturers and code requirements.
