Job Description
As a Cook the purpose is to produce high quality products in a fast-paced environment that exceed our guests expectations on every visit. As a Cashier the purpose is to ensure guests expectations are exceeded by taking their orders correctly, as well as, assembling and serving their order both accurately and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Completing always ready checklists, weekly cleaning lists, and other operational checklists
-Flexibility to interchange from Cashier duties to Cook duties numerous times throughout a shift
-Cleaning and maintenance of facility and equipment; paying special attention to both front and kitchen areas
-Following food and safety regulations and completing food safety checklists
-Working as a team with co-workers to achieve service times, waste, labor, and food costs
-Preparing, cooking, packaging, and presenting high quality food for guests
-Receiving, storing, and rotating products by ensuring quality and quantity
-Handling guests special requests and allergies with care
-Following guidelines and keeping up to date with A&W standards such as: product knowledge, menu updates, promotions, etc.
-Adhering to Canalta and A&W operational standards
-Stocking and organizing kitchen and front areas with necessary operating supplies
-Delighting guests with friendly and caring service
-Greeting, placing, and assembling food orders for guests
-Pouring drinks for counter and drive-thru orders
-Cleaning trays, mugs, plates, cutlery, etc.
-Handling and maintaining designated cashier float
-Accepting, entering and handling coupons following the coupon policy
-Acknowledging and handling guest concerns with help from Supervisors/Managers
-Attending daily huddles
-Attending scheduled meetings such as C&E meetings, performance reviews, training sessions, etc.
-Following and enforcing all policies issued by the human resource department
-Having a positive and professional demeanor while working
