Job Description: The EMT-P/ACP Coordinator (Superintendent) is an integral member and leader for front line staff, coordinating operational resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring established policies, procedures, and work standards are followed, as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching of personnel.  As a member of the front line team, the EMT-P/ACP Coordinator (Superintendent) is responsible for scene management and support to patients, families and staff.  The EMT-P/ACP Coordinator (Superintendent) reports to the Manager of EMS Operations, or designate for the area of province they are working. They may also provide occasional support or input on provincial initiatives.  

Required Qualifications

Valid Class 4 drivers license
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the ACP/EMT-P level
Experience
Previous experience coordinating, facilitating and with experience in facilitating adult education is an asset.
A minimum of two years experience as a practicing Advanced Care Paramedic
Excellent knowledge of legislation, protocols and scope of practice as applicable to EMS in the Province of Saskatchewan
Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System

Effective oral and written communication skills
Flexible and able to adapt to a variety of work situations
