Job Description: Under the direction of the Pediatric Outpatient (POPD) manager, the incumbent will provide psychology services, in large part, to children and youth referred through Pediatric Inpatient and Clinical Health Psychology services will include psychological assessments, psychometric testing, and diagnostic services and treatment. The psychologist works as part of a multidisciplinary team in the context of a range of services to children and adolescents who are experiencing significant distress or dysfunction related to mental disorder, trauma, cumulative stress and/or problems in daily living. They are responsible for monitoring psychological testing materials and advising the POPD Manager when additional resources are required to support the provision of psychological services in this milieu. The incumbent must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and relevant community stakeholders. The incumbent will also provide clinical supervision to clinical psychology practicum students. The incumbent will occasionally provide input into program development, planning and evaluation.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
Supervised training in assessment, differential diagnosis and intervention with children and youth exhibiting mental health issues, mental disorders and addiction issues.
Master's Degree in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited program.
Eligibility for and attainment of the Authorized Practice Endorsement from the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
