Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of EMS, the EMT/PCP Coordinator is an integral member and leader for front line staff, coordinating operational resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring established policies and procedures are followed, as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching of personnel. As a member of the front line team, the Coordinator is responsible for scene management and support provision to clients and staff. The Coordinator will be based at their respective site, either Hudson Bay or Porcupine Plain. The Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of both locations.
Qualifications:
Primary Care Paramedic Certificate.
Licensed as an EMT/PCP with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
Valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Drivers License.
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
Current Basic Life Support - Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (BLS CPR).
Incident Command System (ICS) training considered an asset.
Canadian Red Cross Advanced Emergency Care Instructor Certificate is preferred.
Certificate in Health Care Administration or equivalent is preferred.
A minimum of two years of experience as an EMT/PCP.
