Responsibilities
Learn the history of each resident (both personal and work) and share with the household team how history might play out in household programming.
Learn and use the name of choice for each resident.
Learn what brings each resident joy, happiness, contentment, worries and then work to incorporate your findings into meaningful daily activities.
Be emotionally available to the residents by sharing some appropriate portion of your life with them in order that they might get to know you and that will help strengthen the relationship between you and the resident.
Learn and use the daily rhythm of each persons life and use that to direct your interactions with the resident.
Facilitate each persons independence by coaching and supporting them through their activities of daily living, assisting only when necessary.
Represent your household team, as required, on various Wintergreene Committees, such as OH&S, employee Relations, VQI. Etc.
