Full Job Description
Required: Diploma in Early Childhood +1 year experience as Director and +2 years Early Childhood Educator Required
-Administrative Duties- Spreadsheets, timesheets, Grants, Emails, Phone Calls, Billing, Banking, Subsidy, Affordable Childcare Spreadsheets, Licensing etc.
-Supervising up to 10 staff, scheduling, holidays, sick days
-Positive Interactions with Staff, Children and Parents. Dealing with every day planning and concerns. Talking to Parents about concerns and problem solving.
-Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social developments of children. Responsible for planning and implementing appropriate activities that follow the Children's interests.
-Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
-Guide and assist the children in the development of proper eating , dressing and toilet habits.
-Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and children. Work as part of a team sharing responsibility for all aspects of the program
-Engage each child individually each day, and make every effort to greet every parent/guardian.
-Promote positive interactions and behavior guidance and direction with the ongoing supervision of the classroom.
