Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Education, Adult Education or other related disciplines.
Experience in the development and facilitation of employment-related
Experience working with newcomers to Canada, including those with limited English language skills.
Strong technological skills; proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, Google Classroom, SMART Boards, Databases
Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration and organization skills
Demonstrated experience in effective communication and maintaining positive relationships with multiple stakeholders
Proven accountability, resourcefulness, initiative, and professionalism
Strong ability to work cooperatively in a cross-cultural setting
In-depth knowledge of market trends, available training, educational and employment opportunities, employer requirements, and community resources is an asset proficiency in more than one language would be an asset
The annual salary for this position starts at $50,301.74($29.09 per hour) at Step 1 of RODS' Professional Category 1. The annual salary is based on the 33.75 hours / week work schedule and will be prorated for 40 hours/ week work schedule. Pay periods are the end of the day on the 15th of the month and the end of each month.
