Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the employee in this position is responsible for the monitoring, coordination and measuring results and reporting on the degree of impact of the projects, policies and actions outlined in the Winter City Strategy. The work generally requires the employee to exercise judgement, initiative and creativity. The nature of the role requires the individual to have a strong ability to engage various staff throughout the organization and requires a significant degree of leadership and independence. This position will provide coordination of efforts across a number of corporate divisions and will provide a corporate-level report to City Council on the progress and impacts of the projects, policies and actions within the Winter City Strategy. The Winter City Strategy Coordinators responsibilities also includes direct involvement in policy development and the delivery of Winter City related projects and actions as outlined in the Winter City Action Plan.
