Joining a team in child protection. Should have knowledge in the Sask. Child & Family Services Act and the Federation of Sask Child & Family Support Standards. Knowledge of Ministry of Social Services (MSS) and Indigenous Service Canada (ISC) policies. Experience in assessments and case management and SDM intake process. Knowledge of family trauma in family systems. Knowledge of understanding of the First Nation Culture and ability to speak Cree will be an asset. Case management, court processes and procedures are mandatory in this position. strong reading and writing skills and computer knowledge for Case Management. Able to perform related job duties as assigned. Must maintain a clear CPIC & Vulnerable Sector Check, Class 5 Drivers License with no probation. Maintain confidentiality, must sign oath of confidentiality. Applicant must have good assessment skills. Ability to handle high stress and work flexible hours.
