Precision Electro-Mechanical has an opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant position to start immediately.
General duties will include:
-Answering incoming calls
-Receiving mail
-Word processing
-Data entry
-Filing
-Greeting people and directing them to contacts or service areas
Other office duties will include:
-Payroll and payroll tax filing/reporting
-PST/GST tax installment payments/reporting
-Accounts payable and receivable
-Manage incoming invoices and purchase orders
-Bank reconciliations and bank deposits
-Staff meeting minutes
-Managing ISNetworld/WBC/ISO accounts
-Year-end preparation
-Entering employee timecards and jobcards
-Handling employee paperwork including ROE's, T4's, benefits packages, etc
-Credit card processing
-Inventory
-Other general admin duties
-Some shipping/receiving duties including booking shipments, local pickups & deliveries
Skills Required:
-Excellent customer relations skills, both on the phone and in-person
-Proficient use of computers
-Knowledge with programs such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel and Gmail
-Knowledge of office procedures such as copying, faxing, filing, shredding, etc
-Self-motivated
-Ability to work independently and as a team member
-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
-Desire to learn and willingness to take on new tasks
-Class 5 driver's license
