Maintenance & Materials Coordinator
The Maintenance & Materials Coordinator, under the direction of the Project Manager, is primarily responsible for coordinating and supporting Shermcos electrical maintenance site services along with materials coordination of Shermcos overall electrical services site operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate with BHP/HBJV planning/scheduling group in support of Shermco maintenance operations
Vendor pricing and quote creation for site-based maintenance requirements in support of Project Manager
Purchasing of materials, sub-contractors, equipment (all 3rd party requirements) in consultation with Project Manager
Coordination of deliveries to site
Receiving of materials, sub-contractors, equipment (all 3rd party requirements) including management of receivables documentation (packing slips, manifest, POs etc.)
Coordination of sub-contractors
Kitting of materials for work orders
Inventory of materials both purchased and site stock
Calibration of test equipment and on-site tooling
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in electrical maintenance
Experience and understanding in electrical materials, equipment, devices, and components
Experience in an industrial setting
Experience in medium and high voltage systems considered an asset
Journeyperson Electrician certificate or demonstrated knowledge and experience in materials coordination or materials management
Solid computer skills
Advanced organization and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to customer satisfaction
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Must have a valid driver's license and able to maintain a clean abstract
Must be available to work out-of-town if not local at customer site BHP Jansen
Other Requirements:
Position is site based (BHP Jansen)
4 & 3 shift
Camp required for personnel not local to site
