Southeast College is looking to recruit a 1FTE ABE/ESWP Program Coordinator to join the Education team in Estevan or Weyburn.
The ABE/ESWP Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordination, development, and delivery of programs.
Some typical duties of the ABE/ESWP Program Coordinator may include, but are not limited to:
Conduct needs identification and research training/program needs, and identify co-delivery partnership opportunities.
Assist with developing program plan(s) for area of responsibility, as well as their integration into the Colleges overall ABE/ESWP strategic program plan.
Supervise instructors, including performance management and annual appraisals. Supervisory responsibility of up to 5 FTEs.
Lead events and perform public speaking on the Colleges behalf.
Have the ability to travel and modify work hours as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated experience in the use of computer applications, specifically in the use of Microsoft office suite of programs as well as good working knowledge of Google Classrooms, Teams, Zoom, and/or other educational platforms.
Maintains confidentiality at all times.
Education and Experience
Completion of a relevant Bachelors degree (eg. Bachelor of Education) or equivalent
Holds or meets the requirements to hold a Professional A Certificate.
The minimum amount of practical experience required to perform the duties of this position is two years recent, relevant experience. This experience would provide demonstrated skills in supervision, leadership, teaching and/or working with students, budgeting, negotiations with partners, dealing with sensitive situations, time management, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
