Job Description: As a member of the Mental Health and Addiction Services, the incumbent is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team in Mental Health and Addiction Services.  The incumbent represents Mental Health and Addiction Services to the public and to agencies by providing information, intake assessment, crisis response services, referral, consultation, research and education.  Responsibilities include use of assessment tools, screening, crisis intervention, referral, short term case management, counselling, goal planning, consultation, preparation of reports, data collection and patient, family and public education.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
PART Basic Level
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Current CPR Certification
Basic CPR, PART certification and ASSIST required
Requires 2 years full-time experience in Acute Psychiatric Nursing or Community Mental Health nursing experience or in a combination of the two.  Experience in the previous 2 years in dealing with individuals with acute and chronic psychiatric disorder.  Experience in the previous 2 years in psychiatric assessment and intervention required. Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team in a mental health setting preferred.
