Description

The Saskatoon Housing Authority has a full time, in-scope building caretaker employment opportunity! If you are an outgoing individual who enjoys light repairs, cleaning and socializing with others, this may be a really good fit for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible the cleanliness & maintenance of the property in their care.  Our staff deal directly and respectfully with tenants, staff and contractors.

DUTIES:
. Keep the building, grounds and sidewalks clean and safe & arrange for parking lot cleaning with maintenance staff.
. Sidewalk snow removal
. Show units to new & potential tenants
. Assist in vacancy preparation by monitoring contractors
. Perform annual maintenance inspections on all units
. Perform move in/move out inspections
. Provide orientation for new tenants
. Perform minor repairs, as required
. Must have your own tools

QUALIFICATIONS

. Grade 12 or equivalent
. experience in general maintenance & cleaning
. ability to communicate effectively;
. integrity & strong work ethics are highly valued

Clear criminal & vulnerability background check will be required. You will be asked to partake & pass a minimal work related fitness test looking to the ability to lift, climb stairs, ladders, etc. (professionally administered).  This position is compensated with an annual salary & excellent benefits package.  Core work hours are M-F 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (36.25 hour work week).
