West Ridge Childcare Centre is looking to hire a Full Time Educator starting as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, outgoing, takes initiative, and a team player who loves working with children!

Our Centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. We are closed all statutory holidays. We are licensed for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

We follow the play and exploration curriculum. Your daily duties include but are not limited to: planning age appropriate children lead activities, setting up learning environments, observing & supervising children, attending to children's needs, behavior management, working as a team, documentation, building relationships with children & parents, etc.

If you enjoy working with children and are interested in helping them learn and grow, and becoming a part of the West Ridge Childcare team

Must have a clear current criminal record check & vulnerable sector check (within the last 3 months) prior to interview. Please submit with resume if possible.

Not needed but if you have ECE level 1, Current First Aid & CPR (not expired), and food safe, it is a good asset!

However if you do not have your ECE level I, you must be willing to take classes to attain ECE level I .


NO EDUCATION - $13.00/h
ECE 1 - $17.60/h
ECE 2 - $21.00/h
ECE 3- $25.00/h
