Eden Care Communities (ECC) is a not-for-profit and charitable housing, health care and wellness provider of Long Term Care Homes, Personal Care Homes and Group Home Living in Regina, Saskatoon, and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Are you passionate about enabling seniors? If so, we are currently looking for a Food Service Assistant for our Regina Lutheran Home location.

Assemble meals including breakfast, dinner, supper and nourishment
Clean and pre-prep menu items
Slice, grind, puree and shred food
Measure ingredients
Prepare sandwiches, salads, toast and desserts
Assist preparation of meals and nourishment
Assist preparation of special lunches and nourishment
Re-package food supplies for delivery to other sites
Portion food items and beverages (e.g., desserts, hot and cold cereal)
Assemble trays
Serve breakfast, dinner, supper, Meals-on-Wheels and nourishment
Provide cafeteria/dining room service
Provide cashier services
Provide tray delivery and pick-up
Assist client/patients/residents with meals (e.g., condiments, cut meat) and provide dining assistance
Assist with catering services
Clean and sanitize work areas/surfaces, equipment and floors
Pre-clean/wash dishes, pots and pans
Collect garbage and dispose of wastes and recycling
Clear and sanitize tables
Disassemble, clean, reassemble and store cafeteria items

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Basic Computer Skills
Communication Skills
Driver's Licence, where required by the job
Food Safe Certificate
