We invite applicants to apply for a permanent full time Assistant Supervisor position within our well known and well recognized Families First Program. This program takes great pride in offering client-centered in-home support to families with a focus on reunification, preservation, and wellness.
In this position you will be an active member of the supervisory team providing leadership, guidance, training, and mentorship within two of our Family Support units, you will be responsible for providing coverage in the absence of the Program Supervisor for the Families First and Intensive Family Support units, and you will assist with service delivery to support families with reunification, family preservation and family cohesion.
The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership skills that are exemplified by respect, empowerment, and encouragement to support success, growth, and cohesion within the units. Other skills required for this role include problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, communication skills, and a well-rounded knowledge base in areas of addiction, mental health needs, familial violence, housing/food insecurity and the Ministry of Social Services.
We require someone that is empathetic and supports individuals and families with a strengths based, client centered approach while utilizing a trauma informed lens.
