Description

Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Manager, you will participate in the planning, organizing and/or implementing of a recreation program enhancing the physical, cultural, social, spiritual, sensory and intellectual development of the senior residents as an integral part of the total resident care.
Background/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be an innovative individual with an interest in seniors, recreation, must demonstrate capability of relating to residents, staff, and members of the community.  
Irregular hours including weekends and evenings are inherent in the job. Flexibility is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Manager, responsible for planning, organizing and/or implementing meaningful recreation programs within the facility, to meet the residents needs.
Participates in staff meetings and supplies input into new programs and future possibilities.
Responsible for supervising and assisting any volunteers assigned to him/her by the Life Enrichment Manager.
Meets with new residents, to help acquaint them with the Life Enrichment department and its policies.
Complies with safety regulations and policies in all Life Enrichment programs.
Responsible for maintaining ongoing effective communication with the Life Enrichment Manager and other departments as appropriate.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
