Purpose and Key Responsibilities
The Tenant Relations Customer Service Rep is the first point of contact and needs to maintain helpful and courteous relations with tenants, people seeking information and staff. The primary responsibilities are to provide service to people at the counter and to handle all incoming telephone calls. The Tenant Relations Customer Service Rep requires knowledge of the organization and current operating policies. The key responsibilities are:
Respond to incoming calls, transfer calls, recorded messages.
Act as receptionist at the counter and provide answers and information to all inquiries.
Writes letters and Tenant Communication as requested
Ensure a positive and respectful image is maintained as this position is the front line and first point of contact for tenants and the public.
Accept rental payments and prepare receipts.
Prepare deposit of daily cash receipts.
Open, sort, route, and deliver mail accordingly.
File all tenant files on a daily basis and file correspondence in the tenant files daily.
Ensure that the files are accurate with the Homes System.
Complete rent adjustments as assigned.
Complete annual lease renewals as assigned.
Maintain all office equipment.
Supports the General Manager, Finance Services Manager and Tenant Relations as needed.
Can be cross trained for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Tenant Services, and Maintenance Admin
