Have clear understanding of food preparation and service techniques (e.g. portion control, measuring ingredients, operating kitchen equipment etc.)
Must be able to work with a tan-door oven
Ability to have complete understanding of the menu
Be able to follow recipes and sanitation requirements
Have ability to be cross-trained in all areas of kitchen
Understanding of food handling procedures and preparation requirements, as well as workplace safety requirements, hygiene and sanitation practices
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, execute dishes for guests in a timely manner, process strong organizational skills and work ethic.
Must be able to work in a team,, ability to speak clearly, and listen attentively to management

Previous kitchen experience & valid food safe certificate considered an asset
Knowledge and background about Indian Cuisine is considered an asset
