Description

Caleb Village Melville is a 94 suite independent living seniors facility, offering residents 3 home cooked meals each day in our dining room.
We're seeking an additional cook to join our team.

Duties include:
- preparation of quality meals & baking according to a posted menu
- oversee, assist as necessary with the service of food
- relieve the Head Cook and perform necessary related duties
- assist in orientation and training of new staff
- clean, sanitize cooking areas and equipment
- perform other duties as required

Experience is preferred, however this position will have the opportunity to train with our Red Seal Chef, so a good knowledge of food prep and a desire to learn are taken into consideration.
Bonus paid to candidates who pass 3 month probationary period.

Variety of full/part time, early morning and late shifts, weekend work required on a rotating schedule.
