Description

Rite Way Mfg. is a growing agricultural equipment manufacturing company that has been in operation since 1972.  Its two manufacturing plants, in Regina and Imperial SK, have an excellent working environment.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function of Rite Way, including managing accounting staff.  

Responsibilities include:
- Oversee financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
- Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
- Participates in budgeting process by creating schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and making recommendations.
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Identifies and manages risk, including involvement in the commercial insurance relationship.
- Oversees payroll and benefits programs.
- Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Provides leadership to financial staff by coaching, counseling and reviewing performance.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- CPA designation preferred
- Minimum 10-15 years experience in accounting/finance
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Experience with financial software
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information and develop budgets
- People management skills
