As the Traditional Pow Wow Dancer of the SIMFC Reclaiming Culture and Identity Project, you will teach various Traditional Pow Wow Dance to a group of up to 45 participants, from age 5 years and up.
This is a Temporary position from November 2022 until March 2023. Maximum 3 hours per week.
Must be willing to work in the evening
Qualifications:
Relevant combination of work and experience will be considered
Experience in teaching various Pow Wow dance styles.
Experience in storytelling and First Nations/Metis history.
Understanding of Saskatoon's Aboriginal Community.
