We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our Swift Current property management team. Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Worker will work as part of the team to operate, repair and maintain the buildings interior and exterior, including parking lots in an efficient and professional manner to preserve and maintain the building and equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Perform general and preventative repairs and maintenance of the building, equipment and exterior areas, and other tasks as assigned
Operate and monitor all building systems
Assist in day-to-day operations of the buildings plumbing, heating/cooling and electrical systems
Consistently offer professional and friendly service and respond to all concerns in a professional courteous manner
Be aware of all chemicals and tools used on the job, work safe attitude
Good physical condition to perform a variety of manual activities., able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces and lift or carry objects.
Familiarity with computers is an asset.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
1-2 years Maintenance service experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Effective communication of English language both verbal and written
Salary:
Starting at $45,000 per year
Hours of work will be an 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday (on-call rotation and overtime required).
