Description

Mustang Safety Services Ltd. is currently accepting applications for EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDERS in the oilfield based out of Kindersley.
An EMR's main objective is to ensure that injured worker(s) are provided immediate medical care, that comply within their scope of practice/medical control guidelines and to arrange transport to the nearest hospital.
Experience and knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred but willing to train a motivated individual(s).
Individuals applying must have the following or be willing to get:
First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, CSO, TDG, WHMIS. EMR Certification.
Saskatchewan College of Paramedics licensed EMR's given preference over non licensed EMR's.
Clean Driver Abstract + Vulnerable Sector Check
Defensive driving an asset but not a requirement.

Competitive Day Rates (Experience is taken into consideration)
The Onsite Medics tasks include, but not limited to:
-Arrive fit for duty and comply with all of Mustang Safety Services current policies and procedures.
-Conduct pre-job/post-job inspections on assigned Mobile Treatment Centre.
-Operating and maintaining cleanliness of assigned Mobile Treatment Centre in a safe and appropriate manner.
-Ability to travel safely to & from work site in adverse weather conditions.
-Demonstrate a high level or professionalism while working the field.
-Signing in/Signing out of all personnel on site.
-Maintaining an accurate head count of personnel on location.
-Being an active participant in all safety meetings.
-Filling out daily paperwork + hazard assessments accordingly.
-Collecting and maintaining confidential information (all pertinent patient medical information)
-Administer pre-hospital emergency care by assessing severity of injuries and determining emergency medical treatment + transport in a timely manner.
