Description

Will work with a multi-disciplinary team, the primary role of the CHR is the promotion of wellness, the protection of health, and prevention of injury and illness in a community setting. Assisting in maintaining essential community health services, the CHR promotes and advocates for clients and sustains effective communications between primary health practitioners and community members, i.e. elders, families, and clients.
In collaboration and with the community health team, the CHR will also educate and monitor the community for general health, and in epidemics and emergencies. In addition, as a member of health team, the CHR plays a vital role many of the health areas.
