The LaRonge Regional Housing Authority is currently recruiting TWO (2) Administrative Assistants to join their team. The Housing Authority provides social housing to low-income seniors, families and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter. If you have excellent organizational skills, are able to multitask, and thrive in a team environment, we have a position that may be of interest to you!
the first position is a front-line administrative position responsible for responding to incoming calls and walk in traffic; preparing payment vouchers and record keeping, tracking, scheduling, taking rent payments, bank statement reconciliation, etc.
The second position has a greater focus on processing tenders and works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and staff of the Housing Authority.
What we are looking for:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office;
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
Ability to maintain confidentiality
What you will need:
Grade 12 or equivalent (some post-secondary in business administration would be an asset);
Overall knowledge of all office systems and procedures;
(including excel, and comfort using new/customized programs for record-keeping and budget tracking);
A valid drivers license, use of own vehicle and ability to travel as may be required.
An approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) Criminal Record Check is required.
