Description

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is a Treasury Board Crown responsible for emergency communications including Sask911 and SaskAlert, wildfire management, emergency management and fire safety. This centralized agency ensures a single point of contact for communities, greater co-ordination of provincial resources and contributes to safer communities in our province.

The SPSA is seeking an organized, results-oriented, and team player for a one-year term position as a Record Keeper for Air Operations in La Ronge. The position reporting to the Business Manager will be responsible for:

Bi-weekly auditing of employee timecards prior to submission to Managers;
Seasonal employee recall packages / layoff notices;
Employee file management and confidential document submission to Human Resources Service Centre;
Receptionist duties, where required;
Accounts payable invoice submission;
Contract file creation and database management; and
Government credit card user

You will have knowledge of:

Office and workflow management to develop and implement systems to ensure deadlines are met;
Office and administrative procedures, protocols, and equipment usage
Office filing procedures and systems, and
Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The successful candidate will ideally have formal education in business or office administration, or similar work experience and must clearly indicate in their cover letter or resume where they have acquired their knowledge, experience, skills and abilities.
