Description

Job Summary:
Maintains, operates and repairs high pressure boilers/energy centre systems.

Qualifications:
Education:
Power Engineering Technology Diploma completed Semesters 1, 2, 3, 4.  3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate.

Experience:
No Previous Work Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently.  Ability to read blueprints and schematics.  Intermediate computer skills. Intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical trades.

Additional Information:
On Call required.  Will be required to work all shifts, ability to enter into confined spaces.  Previous experience in operation start up and shut down of water tube boilers, electric chillers, operation of emergency stand by power equipment is an asset.
