Children North Early Intervention Program is a non-profit, pediatric therapy hub in the heart of Northern Saskatchewan with a multicultural demographic. We are contracted by the Saskatchewan Health Authority to provide therapies in Northern SK. Children North supports children (0-5), youth (6-17) and their families with a wide variety of special needs. We specialize in child and youth development and offer a variety of services including psychological assessment and therapy, physical and occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. You will be working closely with a local PT as well as consultative SLP, Pediatrician, ASD specialist and psychologist. Each family has an interventionist assigned for support. Each member of our multi-disciplinary team believes that every child is unique and possesses his or her own individual strengths. We believe in nurturing each child as a whole person and empowering them to understand and be proud of who they are. We are passionate about taking a client and family centered approach to every aspect of the care we provide. We are looking for a self-directed, fun and compassionate individual who is willing to spend 1 week a month in La Ronge, SK. New Grads welcome. We have a fully furnished apartment overlooking the lake for our specialists. This is an independent contractor position.
