Description

The Early Years Family Resource Centre (EYFRC) is program of the Regina Early Learning Centre developed through a collaborative of community and government stakeholders. The strategic objective of the EYFRC is to create a community-based environment where families can easily access a wide variety of services. It will be a model of integrated services that provides a framework for inter-sectoral collaboration and for combining the interests, expertise and resources of local service providers. EYFRCs will provide an environment where several different program elements are focused on supporting healthy child development and positive parenting skills.
Triple P is a parenting skills program which helps parents raise confident, healthy children and teenagers, and to build stronger family relationships. The program gives strategies that parents can adapt in a way that suits their own values, beliefs, and family/individual needs.
The role of the Triple P Facilitator is to support the delivery of Triple P Parenting Programs throughout the community with individuals, families and community groups and to support the EYFRC programs.
Knowledgeable about child development and able to provide additional connections to participants to community resources including the EYFRC and ELC.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle which meets safety standards.
